According to a report by Jamaran news agency, the second meeting of the Youth and University Committee of the Central Committee of Imam Khomeini’s Commemoration was held on Saturday, April 28th, with Dr. Sayyid Ahmad Hosseini as its head at the place of the central committee and the organization’s representatives gave a report of their activities about the 23rd demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini.
Holding conferences, scientific and cultural competitions and book fairs, publishing special editions about the demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini and preparing the environment for the demise anniversary and the attendance of the elites and university figures were among these programs.
During this session it was decided that the week staring from May 26th should be named as the week of honoring Imam’s name and memory at the universities, schools and the rest of the youth related centers and also May 30th as the day of the university, teachers, youth and students’ oath with Imam Khomeini.
At the end of this meeting it was decided that the university committee located at the Supreme Leader’s office at the universities and the student committee at the Education Ministry should deliver the detail of their programs at the next meeting of the Youth and University committee.
