According to a report by Jamaran news agency, during this session Dr. Hosseini started with giving his gratitude for the activities and cooperation of the ministries and organizations in last years ceremony, delivered a report from last years activities and he hoped that this year all the embers of the committee would try their best to perform their duties for this years Imam Khomeini’s Commemoration ceremony.
In continue Dr. Hosseini talked about the importance of Imam Khomeini’s commemoration at his 23rd demise anniversary and said: “Academic places and locations related to youth are the best field for distributing Imam’s thoughts and ideas and the most important cultural duty of organizations is making the youth and students familiar with Imam’s thoughts.”
During this session, Mr. Arefnia, head of the cultural department of the committee, Mr. Qasemi, one of the mangers of the cultural department of the Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini's Works, gave a report of the cultural productions of the committee and the Institute for the 23rd demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini, and afterwards each of the officials gave their viewpoints and ideas for holding a much more glorious ceremony on the demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini.
At the end of the meeting it was decided that a university committee at the place of the Supreme leaders office in the universities, a student committee at the Education Ministry, youth sport committee at the Sport and Youth Ministry will be established and the report of their meetings will be delivered at the further sessions of the committee.
It should be mentioned that the Science, Research and Technology Ministry, Education Ministry, Sport and Youth Ministry, The Supreme Leaders office at the Universities, Central Jihad University, Basij Organization, Islamic Azad University, University of Applied Science and Technology, Payam Nour University and the Students ISlamic Union, the Red Crescent of IRI and … are the members of this committee.
