The Research Institute of Imam Khomeini and the Islamic Revolution, In a research titled as “Reviewing Revolutionary Discourse in Imam Khomeini's Political Thinking”, reviews the evolution of a thought, which was introduced by Imam Khomeini for reviving religious indexes such as freedom, justice, independence, etc. and for establishing an Islamic government based on the notion of supreme leadership. This research tried to review the main hypothesis of this research (Imam Khomeini was the one who revived Iran's revolutionary discourse and Shiite thinking) with regard to Imam's thinking school. This research reviews and proves the mentioned hypothesis and studies the impact of Iran's revolutionary discourse on Islamic thinking of contemporary scholars. The author in the preface provides the general outline of the research, which is labeled "12 principles of the research methodology".
the main question raised in this research is that:
      Q.  What is Iran's Islamic revolution discourse? Moreover, how could it be actualized?
This is the temporary answer provided to this question:
Imam's reviving Shiite thinking actualized Iran's revolutionary discourse.
In order to answer the question mentioned above the following notions are defined: 1. Revolutionary discourse, 2. Reviving Shiite thinking, 3.Shiite thinking, etc.
In the first section, the issue of revolution in modern thinking is covered. Then the viewpoints and theories introduced by Shahid Motahari and Naeeni are discussed both of which believed that Iran's revolution was started for actualizing freedom, justice and independence in the society.
In the second chapter, the author studies the impact of Islamic political thinking in the development of Iran's revolution. According to this study, Islam and its impact has the most prominent role in development of Iran's revolution because this revolution is a result of Imam's reviving Shiite thinking.
In the third chapter the author studies the discourse of revolution, causes of this revolution and its dynamic nature. In this chapter, it is indicated that reform and reservation are not effective.
In the next section of this research basics of Shiite political thinking and that of Imam Khomeini are studies under different titles such as: evolution of religious thinking, basics of Imam's thinking school, notion of supreme leadership, etc.
In the end come conclusions, which suggest that: Iran's Islamic revolution was started and developed base on Imam's new interpretation of notions such as independence, freedom, justice, and reservation, prevention of evil and promotion of good. Imam's new interpretation of Ahsura also contributed to this process.
