According to a report by Imam Khomeini’s Commemoration Committee, Tehran’s governor during this visit talked with the reporters and said: “What has kept our nation with joy in the field of our revolution, is the valuable presence of our beloved Imam who had divine sayings.”
Tamaddon stated that people accepted Imam because of his spirituality and said: “Though time has passed since the demise of Imam, the number of his lovers and pilgrims is increasing each day.”
He reminded us that: “In the occasion of Imam’s demise anniversary, the commemoration committee of Tehran has a lot of work in three fronts and the first one is gathering millions of pilgrims from Tehran province.”
