Hojatoleslam Mohammad Reza Mohtashami in an interview with the News Committee of Imam Khomeini’s Commemoration along with giving details of their programs for Imam’s commemoration pointed to holding a Poetry Night in New Delhi, entitled “The Messenger of Morning”, by the help of Iran’s Cultural center in New Delhi and with the attendance of contemporary poets on June 3rd and 4th.
The Cultural-Artistic Deputy of the Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini's Works continued: “Also a visual arts exhibition from selection of the works of contemporary artists about Imam and the Islamic revolution with the cooperation of Hozeh-e- Honari and the Cultural Committee of Imam Khomeini’s Commemoration will be held at Milad Tower.”
He named the visual arts exhibition with 20 selected works at the institute’s lobby, an exhibition of visual arts and calligraphy in Imam Khomeini’s gallery in Esfahan, holding a literature conference entitled “Orouj” (Ascent) in occasion of Imam’s demise in Esfahan as the other programs of his department.
“With the help of Iran’s Culture Center in New Delhi a music album in Qawwali genre and from Imam and other contemporary poets' poetry are being recorded professional Qawwali artists of India.” said Heshamti.
He mentioned that two video clips in occasion of Imam’s demise have been produced and added: “The publishing of the book “Shokooh-e- Shams 2” (The glory of Sun 2) containing Imam’s selected pictures are among other activities of the Cultural Committee which are in progress.”
