We Shouldn’t Act Emotional at Imam Khomeini’s Demise Anniversary Ceremony

The Secretary of the Armed Forces Committee of Imam Khomeini’s Commemoration at their second meeting by mentioning that the June 3rd ceremony isn’t only for mourning stated: ''We shouldn’t act emotional at Imam Khomeini’s Demise Anniversary Ceremony.''

According to the News Committee the second meeting of the Armed Forces Committee of Imam Khomeini’s Commemoration was held by the participation of representatives from different armed forces organizations and with General Mohammad Reza Mowahedi as its Secretary. During this session General Mowahedi by mentioning that the June 3rd ceremony isn’t only for mourning, stated: “Our goal is commemorating Imam’s memory and name.”

He mentioned the coincidence of the Imam’s demise anniversary and the commemoration of the Khordad 15th (June 5th) Rising martyrdoms with the birth of Imam Ali (s.a.), said: “This year's ceremony should be held for this three occasions.”

The Secretary of the Armed Forces Committee of Imam Khomeini’s Commemoration emphasized: “We shouldn’t consider emotional results in holding the ceremony of Imam’s demise anniversary, but distributing Imam’s thoughts should be our main objective.”

Mowahedi by mentioning that the distribution of Imam’s thoughts should be done in a peaceful and academic environment, said: “Visiting Jamaran and Imam’s room by the youth of our nation who haven’t seen Imam in person, could help them to have a more emotional bond with Imam.”

In continue of this session representatives of different armed forces organizations declared their program for the commemoration of Imam Khomeini.
