Based on a report by the news committee, Dr. Sayyid Ahmad Hosseini, secretary of Youth and University Committee mentioned their program for renewing allegiances and said: “On May 30th the students, youth, university students, staff and professors, staff of Ministry of Education, Ministry officials will renew their allegiances with the aspirations of Imam Khomeini by attending the holy shrine of Imam.”
He continued by referring to the details and stated: “Holding programs with the goal of commemorating the name and remembrance of the late imam and distributing his thoughts and ideas through the universities, holding cultural competitions, book fairs inside the universities and schools, announcing the best thesis about the founder of the Islamic revolution and publishing special editions from the related organizations are among the programs of this committee.”
The representative of the Supreme Leader in universities said: “Based on our agreements the week of “Commemorating the Founder of the Revolution” will be held from May 26th until June 1st through the academic centers.” He also mentioned holding debate sessions, book reading competitions, Imam Khomeini’s picture and book exhibition.
Hojatoleslam Shams continued: “Another program will be inviting 50 foreign students who are currently studying inside Iran and particularly at the Qazvin International Islamic Azad University to the June 2nd ceremony.”
During this meeting the representative of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology mentioned that a conference for the managers of university magazines will be held on 16-18 of May in Qum.
