Memory and Relic

17 years after the demise of Hojatoleslam Hajj Sayyid Ahmad Khomeini, the valuable relic of Imam Khomeini has passed and still the people of Iran have sorrow on his loss. He who especially after the martyrdom of Sayyid Mustafa, Imam Khomeini’s older son, kept all the secrets of Imam and had devoted his life in the path of the divine aspirations of the Islamic revolution.

Ali Mohammad Besharati told Jamaran news agency:

Talking about Hajj Sayyid Ahmad is both easy and difficult. It’s easy because as the lovers of Imam and the guardians of the Islamic revolution he loved the people and the Islamic revolution  and he hoped that the message of the revolution would reach everywhere in the world. But at the same time it’s difficult because he got to know himself and his unique position too early and found about the sensitivity of his sayings and acts and silence as the consultant of Imam Khomeini. That’s why he decided to keep silence. If he who was a sea of secrets and information would have talked about anything, what might happened afterwards would have been unpredictable. And he who loved Imam, in his respect kept silence.

We all know that is one of the behaviors of the Imams. Imam Ali during the 23 years of the prophet’s prophecy and Imamat kept silence along with obeying. This was the same in Imam Hassan and Imam Hossein’s life.

The only way we could find about people’s character is from their sayings or their writings and there are so little writings left from Sayyid Ahmad and most of his talks are after Imam’s demise and regarding the demise or in gratitude of people. Because there aren’t much writings let from him and we don’t have much to study more about him, so we can’t talk a lot about him.

Despite his knowledge and talent but in contact with people he was so simple. But when the issue of the revolution and Imam and the values of the revolution were in middle he was strict with everyone.

After Imam’s demise he really missed Imam and felt lonesome.
