On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the victory of Iran’s glorious Islamic revolution, a literature session was held about “Imam Khomeini’s role & reviving spirituality” in Kyrgyzstan’s national library.
According to a report by Fars news agency, “Khaje Keldi Gholiev” deputy of Culture and Information Minister of Kyrgyzstan, during a speech in this session said: “We are very glad for the Islamic republic of Iran’s notable achievements in the world and especially in Asia and Middle East, as an Islamic country.”
He added: “Before the Islamic revolution of Iran, especially during the Soviet Union, if heard anything about Islam we would only consider the retardation of Muslims, but by the appearance of the Islamic revolution with the leadership of Imam Khomeini, Iran reached to great and important achievements in science and technology and was known as a superpower in the region.”
The deputy of Culture and Information Minister of Kyrgyzstan divided Iran’s achievements in three parts:
1. The Islamic revolution of Iran, entered Islam to the individual, social and political life of people;
2. The Islamic revolution of Iran revived religious, cultural and artistic values and preserved the heritage of the great Iranian civilization;
3. Respecting and giving identity to the high position of thinkers, religious scholars and leaders was another achievement of the Islamic revolution of Iran.
This Kyrgyz official stated: “Imam Khomeini’s Islamic revolution was a result of his deep fate to God and also his close relation to God which had made him a complete human.”
During this professional session the books “Short and Wise Quotes by Imam Khomeini” and “Respecting our Ancestors” were revealed at the presence of thinkers, authors, scientific, cultural, religious, academic and media figures of this country.
The next lecturer at this session was “Mohammad Hossein Abedini” head of Iran’s culture center in Kyrgyzstan.
He thanked the attendants and pointed to the subject of the session “Imam Khomeini’s role & reviving spirituality” and said: “Spirituality is an issue that today we should consider it more than any time, because the world is in pain for its lack.”
He stated: “The message of all prophets of God and the mission of the prophet of Islam was inviting mankind towards being alive and living or in other words moving from material world to the divine world. Imam Khomeini who was a student of this school of thought also invited every one to the same thing. Imam Khomeini, a character which is studied from different dimensions in the 21st century, is a unique divine leader. He was the one who made all souls joyful.”
Abedini by mentioning that Imam Khomeini was a great mystics and politician, stated: “Among the great jobs that Imam had done through the region and the world, was reviving of spirituality and bringing it inside the society, and not just theoretical but completely practical, as Imam Sadiq has said: “Preach for people without them asking”, and he had such a great spirituality within his naive body some how that those who had visited him will never forget his spirituality.”
He then continued: “Imam Khomeini said that our universities, schools, radio and TV should all have spirituality. In one of his speeches he stressed that if all the prophets from Adam to the last prophet, Prophet Mohammad, gather with each other they would have no argues with each other, because they were not following their own benefits, but they were all seeking spirituality and they were all divine people themselves. Imam Khomeini was a divine person too and he considered all the victories as an act by the God.”
In the continue of this session “Hojatoleslam Imani”, praying Imam of Imam Ali mosque in Bishkek, along with talking about Imam Khomeini’s spiritual personality, stated: “Imam Khomeini was a unique person in the 21st century, who invited all Muslims to unity . The unity of Muslims was quite important of Imam, and he always introduced the common enemy of all Muslims to them, and remarked that Muslims shouldn’t search for each other’s weaknesses, because this would cause their division.”
He then added: “Imam Khomeini established the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought so with an arrangement he could speed up the unity among Muslims, and we could find a lot of his works in this filed. An example for this will be naming the art Friday of Ramadan as the Qods day for supporting the Palestinians. Imam Khomeini always emphasized on intellectual growth and education of adolescents and youth along with self-purification and said that intellectual growth of our children is done by the schools and therefor he recognized the schools more important than the universities and considered that being a teacher is the job of prophets because by training pious people the world would be become pure too.”
Then Ms. Jyldyz Bakashova head of the National Library of Kyrgyzstan by mentioning the importance of this literature session about Imam Khomeini’s role in reviving spirituality, stated: “Imam Khomeini founded the Islamic Republic of Iran based on Islamic philosophy and ideology and he was a great man who surprised everyone that how could a person arrange all the issues of a country based on Islam. Imam Khomeini considered a great value for the position of women in Islam and involved three groups to revive Islam:
1. Religious scholars;
2. Scientists;
3. Women.
Meaning that the development of a society is based on these three sectors, and he believed that if these three sector would improve well, the society will also improve.”
In continue he added: “All the commands and recommendations of Imam were based on Islam and Islamic Shriah, and one of his recommendations was that a woman is a pattern and if she becomes pure, all of the issues in a society will be solved and he also believed that women could be in charge of important roles in a country.”
“Hassan Armoushiev” a university professor and former president of the Mahmud al-Kashgari university by mentioning the bold position of Imam Khomeini in the contemporary history, said: “Ayatollah Khomeini had such a great spirituality that by it he was able to manage the world’s biggest and most important changes and draw the attention of all the world to himself. The Islamic revolution of Iran was the rise of reality against false, Imam was a complete human, he was able to train realistic seeking soldiers in this difficult age and encourage them. The help of God was always by this great man and the people of Iran, because Imam’s movements, views and behavior was as the Quran and teachings of prophets.”
“Bishenbik Beshkov” deputy of “Il TV network” and the author of “Imam Khomeini’s Life” started his speech by saying: “Ayatollah Imam Khomeini was known for his piety, cleanliness, having great morality and being simple hearted. There is no doubt that he is a model for all mankind. Even the enemies can’t ignore Iran’s great developments in economic, industry, science, academic fields, arts and sanity. The freedom and the rights that Iranian women are holding, isn’t seen anywhere else in the world.”
This famous Kyrgyz journalist said: “Whatever Iran has, it has it from Imam, and we need someone like Imam for improvement and development. The development of mankind is related to the divine growth of them an not any material aspect.”
At the end the books “Short and Wise Quotes by Imam Khomeini” and “Respecting our Ancestors” written by Mirza Hakim Karimov , a well known Kyrgyz author, and translated and published by the support of Iran’s culture center, were revealed at the occasion of 33rd anniversary of the victory of Islamic revolution .
