The recent movements in the Arab countries are the results of Imam Khomeini’s thoughts.

The deputy of the Free Egyptians Party, named the revolutions of this region as a result of the Islamic revolution of Iran and said: “The recent movements in the Arab countries are the results of Imam Khomeini’s thoughts.”

“Mohyeddin al-Ghandour” one of the leaders of the Egyptian revolutionaries in an interview with Fars news agency by mentioning the historical return of Imam Khomeini to Iran and the occasion of the Fajr decade, said: “This historic occasion reminds me of saving the Islamic nation.”

He counted Imam Khomeini’s return to Tehran and the victory of Iran’s Islamic revolution and overthrow of the Shah’s regime as the start of the dignity of the Muslim nation and added: “In fact it was with the lighting of the flames of Iran’s revolution that the revolution’s flames reached to rest of the world.”

Al-Ghandour by mentioning the Islamic revolutions in some Arab countries in the Middle East and North Africa, called the Islamic Awakening as the continuance of the Iranian nation’s Islamic Awakening in more than thirty years ago and stressed: “Iran and Egypt’s revolutions, because all different groups of the society participated in them, are quite similar, especially that in both revolutions people have rises against tyranny.”

This political activist named the recent movements in the Arab countries are the results of Imam Khomeini’s thoughts and said: “Imam Khomeini has clearly described the situation of the today world in his specks and has promised the overthrow of all dictators and the awakening of all Muslim nations.”

Al-Ghandour added: “Though I’m not an Iranian, but I honor the revolution of the Iranian nation, because the changes in Iran in the past thirty years has been a source of blessings for most of the Islamic world and I believe that the Iranians should honor their revolution several times more than what I do.”
