The ‘Imam Khomeini and Awakening the Muslim Youth’ Gathering is to be held for a period of five days from the 26th to the 30th of December. The Islamic Revolution Cultural Consultation Department and the new Nigeria Islamic Advertising Organization hosted this event.
This gathering will take place in the Ibi console Level College in south Nigeria, which is situated in city of Ile Ife in the Osun-State. Lecturers from different universities, local heads, the Islamic Revolution Cultural Consultation Department, and other groups, especially students, will participate in this exhibition.
During this gathering, the Islamic awakening current which is running through the young Muslims of Muslim countries and North Africa will be discussed. The Imam’s role in influencing these movements with his views and ideals will also be discussed. The problems and difficulties that the young generation of Muslims, especially in Nigeria, is facing will also be debated.
