Hojjat al- Islam Seyyed Hassan Khomeini also demanded the Muslim scholars to undertake serious efforts to find religious solution to new issues and occurring of the contemporary-era.
The Muslim scholar further stressed that distancing from endeavor to derive divine solution to contemporary era issues had led to creation of the terrorist groups such as ISIL, also known as ‘Daesh’.
The great figure also noted that extreme ideologies were responsible for creation of such militant groups which are now being used as a tool to defame the kind religion of Islam.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini also stressed on confronting the extremism and militancy through academic efforts by the Muslim scholars.
The remarks come as ISIL and its associated militant groups are blamed for numerous massacres and sacrilegious acts.
They have been committing heinous crimes in the captured areas in Iraq and Syria, including mass executions and beheadings of people.
The ISIL terrorists have threatened various communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians and Izadi Kurds, during their advances in Iraq.
