It has been recalled by Seyyed Baqir Abtahi that the people had great trust on Imam as statements issued by Imam or speeches delivered by him during the struggle for the Islamic Revolution had great impact on the public.
He says it was too evident that Imam used to rule hearts and minds of the people. The people belonging to various classes of society used to answer Imam’s call and followed his footsteps and used to follow his instructions accurately throughout the struggle for the
Islamic Revolution. The prominent cleric believes that tasks carried out by Imam have had great resemblance with those missions done by the divine prophets through the history.
