It has been recalled through a series of memories that decisiveness and certainty was the most unique feature of Imam Khomeini, who led the Islamic Revolution to success in 1979.
Late Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani once recalled that great resolve and determination were main factors Imam's leadership which contributed to success of his divine-oriented mission.
At the peak of struggle for the Islamic Revolution, we requested Imam to leave a seminary where he was staying. We believed that the site could be attacked by the Shah regime, said Rafsanjani.
But Imam refused to leave the place despite all dangers by saying that the leadership should always remain at the heart and center of the movement.
Imam would never give a way to doubt and used to take right decisions in very tough situations, he stressed.
If it was needed he would had called on the people to take to the streets for protests against the Shah regime regardless of whatsoever risks and dangers, Rafsanjani recalled.
The Islamic Revolution under wise leadership of Imam Khomeini put Iran on track of progress, changed the balance of power in the region, strengthened the oppressed nations and confronted the aggressive policies of colonial powers around the globe.
Upon the victory of Islamic Revolution in Iran under the leadership of Imam, sense of responsibility developed in the realm of politics and turned into the source of legitimacy and strength.
