The institution of family from Imam Khomeini’s viewpoint is of great significance and bears a grave responsibility of building a nation.
Imam maintains that women can play greater role in educating communities and societies and can raise awareness among them about a range of issues.
He makes a crystal clear that a family resembles to a school or an educational institute which can contribute to individuals’ intellectual growth and prosperity.
Imam once said in a historic message in this regard as following: "Your family should be your school" and This will not happen except with the efforts of the woman and having a high view of the family position.”
According to Imam Khomeini, the tasks of schools and children would become so easy if children are trained well by families at the very first place.
Highlighting the significance of training and education, Imam Khomeini once said that prophets were sent by God the Almighty to train and educate humans.
“The main topic of all discussions, the subject of all training and education and the goal of the knowledge of all of the Prophets has been human beings.”
According to Imam, they have all come to elevate this creature of nature from its natural level to super natural and up to the highest heaven.
The ultimate goal of all the prophets' efforts is the human being, Imam explained.
According to Imam, The Prophets have been appointed for the sake of humanity; for making true human beings. The books of the Prophets are to turn human beings into true human beings.
