Imam Khomeini wanted oppressed nations to move towards self-reliance

Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic who left a progressive intellectual and political legacy and advised the Muslim and oppressed nations to move towards self-reliance and self sufficiency.

Following the victory of Islamic Revolution under victory of the Islamic Revolution, Iran made drastic progress in several fields despite all obstacles and hurdles by the world colonial powers.

Some colonial powers, especially the United States imposed unjust sanctions against Iran in order to hinder the country’s growth and progress.
