Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini made remarks in a meeting with a delegation of women headed by Shahindokht Molaverdi, a senior advisor in the cabinet of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in the section of Women and Family Affairs.
The internationally-reputed scholar said that one another important objective of the religion has been to eradicate all types of imbalances and correct anti-social behavior.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that infallible divine figures such as the holy prophet of Islam and his daughter Fatima Zahra (peace be upon them) were manifestation of divine’s mercy and blessed with great moral excellence.
He concluded by saying that one of the way to gain proximity to great divine figures would be to practice moderation, rationality, moral and justice. In addition, the moderation and justice should be observed in individual and social spheres as well.
It is worthy to mention that Imam Khomeini, who revived divine values at sensitive juncture of history, stressed on observing moral and moderation in all fields and affairs.
The Islamic Revolution under Imam Khomeini’s wise leadership also granted women with real status in the society and encouraged them to play their role in cultural, social and political arenas.
