Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of Imam Khomeini made remarks in a recent address to officials and workers form the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
The internationally-reputed scholar also stressed that Iran’s Islamic Revolution has been of cultural nature and one of its main objective have been development of ethical norms in the society.
Most of Imam’s famous pupils such as Shahid Beheshti, Morteza Motahhari , Mofatteh and Bahonar were all of cultural background and university figures, he added.
The remarks come as millions of people are set to mark the 38th anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution under wise leadership of Imam Khomeini.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini pointed out that none can harm the Islamic revolution as it has had a great base and support and people.
Imam Khomeini established Islamic-democratic system following the victory of the Islamic revolution which set stage for Iran’s progress in all fields and spheres. The revolution strengthened the oppressed nations across the globe as well.
