Ceremony marks passing away anniversary of Imam’s pupil

A ceremony has been organized to mark the eighth passing away anniversary of Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Qadiri, a loyal pupil of Imam Khomeini.

The gathering was attended by a number of academic figures from universities and religious seminaries to hail the religious and political services of late Muslim scholar.

They lauded efforts by late Qadiri who stood by Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic during thick and thin times throughout the struggle for the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Qadiri was not only had been an efficient pupil of Imam, but also was a jurist of Imam Office’s decree committee and a member of the Assembly of Experts. In addition to that, he rendered precious services to the seminaries and played a key role in supporting the Islamic Revolution.

It is mentionable that Imam Khomeini trained a large number of scholars who proved to be right hand of Imam during his struggle against Pahlavi Shah regime and brought positive changes to the society.

The victory of the Islamic revolution under wise leadership of Imam Khomeini in 1979 changed the balance of power in the interest of oppressed nations and strengthened Muslims across the globe.
