Book reflects Imam Khomeini's views on Quds Day

A book detailing Imam Khomeini’s views on International Quds Day has been published and available for readers.

The book has been translated into English and Arabic languages, and published by organized by the Islamic Propagation Coordination Council (IPCC).

Shortly after the victory of the Islamic revolution, Imam Khomeini declared the last Friday from fasting blessed month of Ramadan as International Quds Day in order to show solidarity with the Palestinian nation and expose the occupation and crimes of the Israeli regime.

International peace activists, including Muslims and non-Muslims stage massive rallies across the world to support the cause of Palestinians on the Quds Day.

The late founder of the Islamic Republic raised the Palestinian issue on the international arena and revived it among the world public opinion.

Some of quotes extracted form Imam Khomeini’s messages, speeches and works regarding the topic comes as under:

Quds Day is universal day, it does not merely center on Quds; rather, it is the opposition day of the oppressed against arrogant powers.

We will always stand by the Palestinian nation.

Israel is the enemy of humanity and Islam.

Quds Day is the day which Islam is revived.

Muslims must keep Quds Day alive.

Quds belongs to Muslims and should be return to them.

Israel is a usurper and must leave Palestine so quickly.

Muslims around the world should consider Quds Day not only as a day of their own but the day of the oppressed.

Quds Day is not exclusively a day for Palestine; it is a day that belongs to Islam and the Islamic governments.

On Quds Day, nations should warn the traitorous rulers.

Should Muslims unite in words, what transpired in Quds and Afghanistan would never happen.

On Quds Day we should warn all superpowers that neither they nor their wicked agents can prevail against Islam anymore

We hope to see the stain of Zionists removed from the holy land of Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Zionist regime is a fake, renegade regime and a paragon of evil.

The establishment of the Zionist regime caused to regional countries put under permanent threat.

The racist Zionist regime has always been a source of discord among regional states.

Defending of Zionists is victimization of respect to human rights, democracy and freedom.

Human values are alien to the Zionist regime.
