Imam Khomeini sought access to justice for all

The late founder of the Islamic Republic highlighted the need for establishing a judicail system which could deliver justice for all.

Imam Khomeini through his historic speeches, messages and works reminded that being a judge or working in judiciary comes with great responsibility, and emphasized the need for delivering justice in accordance with divine teachings and considering all perspectives.

Imam warned taking excessive measure even against offenders and criminal people, and underscored to deliver them proper justice with accuracy in accordance with the teaching of divine religion of Islam.

Imam on several occasion recommended the judiciary to appoint capable judges with required qualifications and capabilities.

Iran established an independent judiciary following the emergence of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

Imam Khomeini established best patterns of social and economic justice in recent history by founding an Islamic-democratic system which is largely based on human and divine values, and promotes justice, moral and spirituality.

The late founder of the Islamic Republic restored dignity to the Muslims and supported the rights of oppressed nations. Imam revived spirituality, religion and divine values at a sensitive juncture of history when the world had been plunged into social and moral decline.
