Muslims cautioned against neglecting Palestinian issue

Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini voices concern that the ongoing conflict in some Muslim countries have plunged the Muslim world into deep crisis in recent years.

The grandson of Imam Khomeini made remarks during an international summit on “Imam Khomeini and the Muslim Ummah” held in the Iranian capital in Tehran.

The summit was attended by large number of senior clerics, intellectuals, scholars and academics from around 20 countries. Hundreds of foreign guests, who are in Tehran to attend the 27th passing away anniversary of Imam Khomeini, also participated the conference.

He strongly denounced any type of sectarian strife or divide, and condemned violent actions being committed by extremist and militant groups against Muslims and others in the region and elsewhere.  

Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini went onto say that the ongoing strife is against the wishes and genuine teachings of the holy prophet of Islam, his infallible successors, and companions.

He called on the world Muslim scholars to fulfill their duties to unite the Muslims in such a tough circumstances and conditions.

Elsewhere in his remakes, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini cautioned the Muslim world against neglecting or ignoring the most important issue of Palestine which is under clutches of the occupation of the Zionist regime.
