The secretary general of the World Assembly for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought made remarks at an international summit l on “Imam Khomeini and Islamic Ummah” .
The gathering was attended by senior clerics, intellectuals, scholars and academic figures from across Iran and the world. Hudreds of foreign guests who are in Tehran to attend the 27th passing away anniversary of Imam Khomeini, also attended the academic event.
The senior cleric went onto say that the revolution led by Imam Khomeini has surprised the world and remains identical to a miracle.
Ayatollah Taskhiri also stressed that Imams’ personality has been a comprehensive one, as he had well command over a range of discipline of knowledge such as jurisprudence, mysticism, philosophy and Quran and Hadith sciences etc.
He concluded by saying that Imam Khomeini had a deep insightful for the welfare of the entire humanity, as his guide the Ummah for the future as well.
