Seyyed Ahmad Hosseini, in charge of a special committee for Youth, universities and cultural affairs, made remarks during a recent meeting held to devise special programs which could introduce Imam’s works and thought to the young generation.
He went onto say that serious efforts must be undertaken to introduce Imam Khomeini’s works and ideals to the wide- range of audience.
Introducing Imam’s works to youths and other devotees is a divine-oriented task and duty, he added.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of various research organizations and institutions.
The proposals were forwarded and certain initiatives were discussed to promote Imam’s works effectively during the passing away anniversary of Imam in the month of June.
It was agreed that Special packages containing books and Imam’s works in digital forms would be distributed as gifts to guests attending the anniversary
The committee also talked about the plans to hold a film festival in the Iranian city of Isfahan with the aim of displaying documentaries about Imam and introducing his ideals to the residents, intellectuals and academics.
It is worthy to mention that Imam’s works have become parts of curriculum of prestigious universities and research institutes across various parts of the world.
The works are being received and widely welcomed at regional and international exhibition.
The international department of the institute for the compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works have translated dozens of Imam’s works to several languages.
Imam had well command over philosophy, mysticism, jurisprudence, Quranic and Hadith Sciences, literature and poetry. His academic and divine legacy would continue to guide the generations for centuries to come.
