The couple made remakes during a recent visit to Imam Khomeini’s holy shrine which is located on the suburbs of the Iranian capital, Tehran.
We want to pay homage to a personality who carried out a great task by leading an unprecedented revolution in contemporary era, the couple added.
The pair went onto say that Iranian people have been heir to Imam Khomeini’s ideals and thought, and his academic legacy. Iranian nation has inherited qualities such kindness, hospitability and truthfulness from Imam Khomeini’s thought, and these attributes are manifested among the Iranian society.
Elsewhere, in their remarks, couple said that they traveled to Iran in order to closely acquire correct views and information about the Iranian people and society. They noted that the incorrect and inaccurate information were being spread about Iran and Iranians across the United Sates and other Western countries.
It is worth to mention Imam Khomeini’s holy mausoleum has become a center of religious, cultural and spiritual in recent years.
The holy site has also organized a series of spiritual gatherings and programs for tourists and pilgrims during the Nowruz which marks the beginning of the Persian year.
The holy site is visited by thousands of pilgrims, intellectuals and tourists from across Iran and various parts of the world each year.
