Remembering Imam Khomeini’s companion

Sheikh Ayatollah Fazlullah Mahallati stood behind Imam Khomeini in all thin and thick times, and rendered great services for the nation.

Sheikh Ayatollah Fazlullah Mahallati had been Imam Khomeini’s representatives for The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) during the wartime periods. He encouraged and maintained the spirit of the Iran forces who were resisting the invasion by the then Iraqi dictator Saddam on the fronts and were defending the Iranian sovereignty

He was considered a loyal, great faithful and supporter of Imam Khomeini‘s ideals.

The airplane carrying Mahallati and some of his comrades was hit by Saddam regime’s fighter jets in early 1984 near the city of Ahwaz. He and his fellows were martyred in the incident.

It is noteworthy that Iraqi dictator Saddam launched war against Iran soon after the victory of the Islamic Revolution. The Iranian nation under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini resisted Saddam and all his colonial backers and defended the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Islamic revolution confronted all internal and external dangers facing the country.

Imam Khomeini’s followers and devotees made countless sacrifices to defend the nation against colonial aggression, and struggle very hard to promote divine and human values.

The Islamic Revolution strengthened the entire Muslim community and defended the rights of the oppressed people.

The Islamic-democratic system brought prosperity from socially, economically and culturally perspectives for the Iranian nation and encouraged the oppressed people to claim their rights in other parts of the world.
