Saudi Arabia alarmed by Islamic Awakening

A former Afghan cultural director to Iran says the Saudi monarchy was alarmed and became scared of the Islamic Awakening.

Mohammad Rahim Afzali, the former Afghan cultural head in Iran, made remarks during an interview with Jamaran news agency.

Afzali went onto say that Saudi monarchy and its Western backers became afraid following the emergence of the Islamic awakening across several Islamic countries in recent years.

The cultural figure pointed out that the Saudi regime created militant groups such as Daesh terrorists in a desperate bid to tarnish the image of Islam.

The House of Saud fuels violence and militancy in order to counter merciful and kind face and image of Islam, he added.

Afzali concluded by saying that the Iranian Revolution had been secured and shielded against all types of deviation due to wise leadership of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic and his successor, the current Ayatollah Ali Khamenei , the current Supreme Leader.

It is widely believed that Imam Khomeini’s dynamic thought, works and ideals had sparked the Islamic awakening across the Mideast and North African regions in recent years.

Imam Khomeini has had well command on various Islamic disciplines including philosophy, mysticism, Hadith, Tasir and poetry. He promoted the real and pure Islam and supported entire Muslim and oppressed nations.

The world Muslim leader also opposed all types of extremism and violence.
