Great steps needed to shield Imam Khomeini‘s thought

The head of institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s institute says big steps are needed to protect and shield thought of the founder of the Islamic Republic.

Hojjat al-Islam Majid Ansari, Majid Ansari, Hassan Rouhani’s vice president for parliamentary affairs, made remarks during a recently held ceremony to mark 27th founding anniversary of the institute.

Ansari, who also heads the institute, pointed out that great tasks regarding preserving Imam’s works, thought and ideals have already been carried out at the institute over the past more than two decades.  However, he emphasized on need of taking big steps to spread and promote Imam’s genuine thought and ideals.

Ansari also insisted that the institute was the sole platform to introduce and confirm the authenticities of Imam’s thought and queries raised around must be responded.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he vowed to establish and inaugurate one of the major libraries close to the holy shrine of Imam Khomeini which is located on the suburbs of the Iranian capital, Tehran.

Imam Khomeini, a great reformist and religious figure, revived the divine and human values in contemporary history when the entire world was plunging into moral decline.

The institute was established in 1996 in a bid to spread Imam’s thought and prevent his works from any kind of distortion. It has managed to translate dozens of Imam Khomeini works into several languages in recent years.
