The Imam never expressed feeling of pain and hurt to individuals other than the medical team. Even when we—who were his physicians and were at his bedside—would ask him as to whether he felt any pain or not, he would initially not say anything and would not express feeling of pain. This was the result of his infinite patience and tolerance in the face of vicissitudes of life.
