He rose up to his feet and went out

One day a person came to the vicinity of the Imam’s residence and wanted to see the Imam without having taken previous appointment. However hard the security guards tried to turn him away, they did not succeed and the man gradually managed to reach himself right to the front of the Imam’s office. The news that an old man with so and so particulars had managed to get to the Imam’s office and was not willing to go away under any circumstance reached the Imam’s ears. I myself bore witness that the Imam himself stood up, went out on to the street and met the old man. While the man was lying flat on the ground, the Imam went up to him and did his utmost to persuade the man to come inside his home, but the old man would not accept. Then the Imam asked the man: “What do you want to do? What do you want me to do for you?” The man responded: “Sir, I do not want anything from you and neither will I come inside. I had just come here to visit you!”
