Sometimes it occurred that extensive propaganda by malicious internal and external elements on the subject of the Imam’s illness had been spread across the globe. Thus the Imam was told that the morale of the people and fighters in the warfronts would be weakened if he did not have meetings or send messages regularly. Nevertheless the Imam stated: “Are the people fighting for me that their morale is weakened? They are fighting for the cause of God and Islam – and they never waver.
