Imam Khomeini Inspired Awakening, Revolutions: Iraqi Activist

An Iraqi activist says the regional revolutions and awakening have been inspired by Imam Khomeini’s works and dynamic thought.

Seham Hasim, the wife of an Iraqi activist whose husband was imprisoned and martyred by former Iraqi dictator Saddam said that the awakening movement in Iraq and other regional countries has been inspired by the Islamic revolution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini in 1979.

She went onto says her husband and other Iraqi youth still are fond of Imam Khomeini’s academic works and ideals.

The Islamic Revolution has been increasingly become popular among the public masses across the region and world over the past years, the activist noted.

She also strongly denounced the pro-Takfiri policies of Saudi Arabia and its support for the terrorist and militant groups operating across the Mideast region.

The activist noted that Saudi Arabian regime couldn’t withstand the popularity of the Iranian revolution and has resorted to wrong means to undermine the Islamic-democratic regional movements inspired by Imam Khomeini’s ideals.

She concluded that the Saudi regime is backward and accused the Persian Gulf kingdom of throwing its support behind militant and terrorist groups.

It is noteworthy that several pundits and analysts believe that Imam Khomeini restored dignity to the whole Muslim world and the oppressed nations around the globe.

After decades of struggle, the Islamic revolution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini gained the victory. The Islamic-democratic system establish by the great Imam brought great status and confidence to the Iranian nation and rest of the Islamic world.
