Seyyed Hassan Khomeini made remarks among thousands of domestic and foreign guests attending the 26 anniversary of heavenly departure of Imam Khomeini.
The grandson of the founder of the Islamic Republic said that two similarities can be easily observed between Imam Khomeini‘s mission and the characteristics of the era of divine savior—Imam Mahdi, the twelfth infallible Imam and truthful successor of the holy prophet.
Imam Khomeini, on the pattern of divine savior—sought to promote brotherhood and justice.
He also went onto say that divine leaders wanted to remove superstitious and ignorance and promotes logic, knowledge and rationality
The intellectual concluded that ideals of doctrine of divine savior teach us of solidarity, brotherhood and unity.
The belief for emergence of the contemporary infallible Imam is considered to be a firm pillar of Muslims' beliefs which reminds us of hope, faith, ultimate fortune and victory of good powers.
Imam Khomeini once in this regard said world said elsewhere: "I am hopeful that the certain day will approach when the promise of God will come true and the oppressed will become inheritors of the earth.”
These are promises and good tidings of God the Almighty which will never fall short and will fully be fulfilled. According to Imam Khomeini, the victory of goodness shows that the universe never stays impartial regarding the good and bad. It also indicates that creator of this world doesn't remain neutral about the occurrences and happenings of this universe.
Imam had strong belief that the creator of humankind and all other creatures was managing this universe with a very deep perception and wisdom.
Ruhullah Musawi Khomeini was born on 20 Jamadi al-Akhir 1320/ 24 September 1902—in coincidence with the birth anniversary of Hadrat Fatima (PBUH)- in the small town of Khomein, some 160 kilometers to the southwest of the holy city of Qom.
Imam Khomeini, the great religious and spiritual leader of the Muslim world passed away on June 3, 1989.
