French Newspaper’s Interview with Imam Khomeini

A French newspaper had published an interview with Imam Khomeini during his historic stay on the outskirts of the French capital Paris.

The journalists asked several questions about personal life and the Islamic Revolution and the great Imam had responded with deep wisdom and logic.

Sources say the Western media was deeply impressed by Imam Khomeini's personality, knowledge and wisdom during his short stay in France.

Responding to a question about his personal life, the great religious leader of the Muslim world compared himself to a simple seminary student.

The great Imam went onto say that he had given importance of academic activities such as teaching, researching and training pupils.

Imam said that he had spent life at home and abroad by spending several years in exile to Turkey, Iraq and France.

The World Muslim further stressed that the French government had not imposed any certain restriction on his movement and has removed on ban for my interview with media outlets as well.

Imam further noted that he would continue to confront the brutal Pahlavi regime of Shah regime and work hard to protect the interests of the Iranian people during his stay anywhere at any point of the world.

Imam Khomeini  led very simple life before and after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 and spared no efforts in rendering help to the most poor and needy classes of the society.

After Imam’s exile to Turkey and holy city of Najaf in Iraq, Imam’s residences were almost devoted to for the seminary students and they used to consult these sites to resolve their educational and financial problems.

Imam Khomeini established an Islamic-democratic system which aimed at bringing independence, freedom, and civil liberties for the Iranians and all other oppressed nations across the globe.

Several pundits believe that Imam Khomeini the founder of the Islamic Republic truly exemplified the true and genuine teachings of the holy prophet of Islam and his infallible successors in his lifestyle.
