Students must play role of nation builders: Imam Khomeini

The founder of the Islamic Republic advised the Iranian students studying abroad advised them to return the homeland in order to play crucial role in fate and future of the country.

Imam said in one of his historic address just before the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 that the university students and graduates must take the fate of their country in their own hands. 

The great leader of the Muslim world always used to advise the students to equip themselves with advanced studies and specialization and advanced technologies. 

The great leader said that the Iranian nation was being oppressed by the puppet regime of Shah and the colonial powers were plundering the resources of nation.

The great spiritual leader said that the external powers had installed puppet Pahlavi rulers which were committing criminal activities and wasting the nation’s resources.

Imam wanted to establish an Islamic-democratic government which could take concrete steps for prosperity of nation and prevent the external powers from confiscating the nation natural sources away. 

The great Imam Khomeini issued special guidelines and paid attention to maintain high standards of education in the country.

The students and graduates proved to be builder of nation and contributed to progress and advancement of the country.

The great leader of the Muslim world wanted the Muslim students, graduates, and professors to prove competent and render their services for the Islamic and oppressed nations. 

Imam Khomeini established an Islamic-democratic system which aimed at bringing independence, freedom, and civil liberties for the Iranians and all other oppressed nations across the globe.
