Sayyid Hassan Khomeini attended the funeral ceremony of Hujjat-al Islam wa al-Muslimeen Sheikh Muhammad Hashimiyaan, who passed away on Saturday the 10th of December. This ceremony took place in the central mosque of Rafsanjan and was open to huge numbers of crowds.

Sayyid Hassan Khomeini sent his condolences to Dr. Mohsin Rezayi, who is the Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council, in a statement he issued. Dr. Mohsin Rezayi has recently lost his son, Ahmad Rezayi.
