Supreme Leader of Iran Makes a Pilgrimage to Imam's Holy Shrine

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, made a pilgrimage to Imam Khomeini's holy shrine and Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery to commemorate the sacrifices and efforts made by the great Imam and martyrs of the Islamic Revolution.

On the auspicious victory anniversary of the Islamic revolution grand Ayatollah sayyid Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, made a pilgrimage to Imam Khomeini's holy shrine and burial place of the Islamic Revolution's martyrs in Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery to commemorate 35 years independence, dignity, honor, and freedom.


The Iranians and several other liberated nations mark the 10-day long event (12 to 22 Bahman) to remember the historic return of great Imam to Iran after spending 14 years of exile in Turkey, Iraq and France.


According to many historians and analysts, Imam Khomeini's ideas and thought continue to inspire nations and revolutions across the world for centuries to come and will continue to guide the young truth-seeking generations.
