The Friday prayers Imam and preacher in Ahwaz and the representative of the Supreme Leader in Khuzestan, Ayatollah Mousawi Jazayeri, commemorating Imam Khomeini, the great founder of Islamic Republic, said that: “The Imam always advised Shiite and Sunni Muslims get united and stand firmly against Western and arrogant powers.”
On the significance of maintaining unity between Muslim Ummah, Jazayeri added: “as always emphasized by the great Imam if we all unite against the enemy, we will gain victory.”
The member of the assembly of experts continued: “Imam Khomeini was pursuing honor and pride of the Muslim around the world, but the enemies after the Islamic revolution did not just sit back and tried to shake the pillars of Islam by creating division between Shia and Sunni sects”
Ayatollah Mousawi Jazayeri also stressed out that in result of the Muslim division and discord a “sneaky son of America and Israel” has been imposed to the Muslim World: “Wahhabism was created by America and the Zionist regime to create division among Muslims and massive efforts have taken place to exert schism between Shiite and Sunni.”
The Ayatollah also declared: “the puppets of the arrogant powers to some extent have reached their goals by creating sedition among Muslims of some regional Arab countries.”
Talking about Syrian conflict made by the terrorists, he said: “The seditions in Syria are being fueled by the arrogant powers and their puppets in the Arab countries and also the deadly bombing in the country are being organized by them to create division among Muslims.”
The scholar finally invited all Muslims to follow dynamic thought by Imam in order to achieve unity and progress and pave the way of dignity and grandeur.
