People from different faiths pay visit to Imam's historic house in Qom. On this line, the custodian and guardians of the house said that the number of pilgrims visiting to the house has dramatically increased during this year. The historical and spiritual site has attracted more than six thousands of devotees across Iran and from all over the world.
The sources say at least 1500 people from Iraq, Lebanon and the Persian Gulf states visited the memorable site.
It is worth mentioning that several Catholic intellectuals and spiritual leaders were among those who paid visit to this place of great spiritual and political significance.
Moreover, several lecturers and professors from Malaysian universities also paid the site which reflects simple life-style of the world great spiritual leader. The scholars and intellectuals were also attending short courses on jurisprudence at the Islamic centers in the holy city of Qom.
The visitors were given short briefings about the history of Imam’s struggle against the deposed Shah regime during his stay in the holy city of Qom. The pamphlets and several others booklets containing information in various languages on Imam’s thought and his struggle were distributed among the visitors.
The visitors showed a great feelings and respects for Imam’s personality and thought.
