It has been called through a series of memoirs that the late founder of the Islamic Republic used to cancel meetings during the blessed fasting month of Ramadan in order to allocate more time for reciting the holy Quran and supplications narrated by infallible Imams.
Imam once said that “the holy month of Ramadan requires duties and comes with great responsibilities”
It has been widely reported that Imam significantly used to reduce his officials meetings in order to focus on performing divine worship and spirituality.
People and relatives within close circle of Imam Khomeini say he used to become more spiritual during these holy days.
