Ayatollah Khamenei, the supreme leader of the Islamic revolution at the gathering of millions of lovers of Imam Khomeini, named the late Imam as the father of the nation and a symbol of kindness,  power and strength and by mentioning Imam’s wise works to revive the soul of dignity among our nation said: “The history-maker nation of Iran by relying on these factors, has offered a successful model of the Islamic Iran and development outside the global hegemonic powers’ sphere of influence to other nations and they have made the oppressive to fear, and this path will be continued until reaching to its peak and making the enemy completely hopeless, and without any doubts the future belongs to the Muslim and Iranian nation, and it will be better than the past.

The supreme leader then pointed to the birth of Imam Ali, and the naming of his birth as ‘Fathers’ Day’, stated: “Our great Imam truly was a father to our nation, for he was a symbol of kindness and at the same time the symbol of power and strength.”

He also called the Imam as the father of today’s Islamic movement and added: “One the main path in Imam’s life was giving life to the soul of dignity among our nation.”

The supreme leader by saying that Imam’s great movement for giving life to the soul of national dignity isn’t only a mental issue and it’s viewable through the reality of our society, stated: “In the logic of the Quran, real and perfect dignity only belongs to God and one who steps in the path of God.”

He then mentioned that based on the logic of Quran we should only seek for dignity from God, and said: “When real dignity is included in an individual or a society, that dignity will be as a safe guard and it would defeat the enemies’ works for influencing and vanishing that society.”

As this dignity moves more in the layers of the society, its impermeability will be more revealed and finally individuals and the society will reach to a level that they will be impermeable against the biggest enemy being the Satan.” stated Ayatollah Khamenei.

The supreme leader named Imam Khomeini as a symbol of such dignity and said: “The late Imam through his life, in the field of knowledge and teaching, in the hard periods of his fighting or in the time of his management and ruling was a symbol of relying on the merciful God.”

Ayatollah Khamenei added: “It was because of this that all the great works that everyone counted them impossible, became possible with Imam and all the blocks which were counted as unbreakable, became breakable by Imam Khomeini.

He emphasized that not only the Imam was a symbol of dignity himself, he also gave life to the soul of dignity among our nation, and stated: “Iran’s nation with their dignity which comes from the teaching of the revolution and the Imam was able to discover its ability and witnessed a lot of God’s promises such as the victory of the oppressed against the oppressive.”

He counted the Islamic revolution as the start of the Iranian nation’s dignity and said: “By the victory of the revolution everything changed and Imam Khomeini by concentrating on reviving the soul of national dignity placed the culture of “We Can” in the hearts of this believing nation.”

He then by relying on the Quranic verses, counted faith as a dignity maker and added: “The great Imam of our nation, by finding the motivations and ambitions, brought the believing nation to the front and the presence of people based on the holy divine tradition, gathered the blessing attention of God.”

Ayatollah Khamenei said: “Imam didn’t rely on pride for reviving the dignity of our nation, but he based his movement on giving strength to the soul of the nation and this is why the soul of national dignity and development still lives in our country.”

At the end he stated: “with no doubt the future is brighter for the Muslim nation and Iranians.”
