Imam Khomeini through historic statement highlighted significance of Quran in guiding humanity as following:
The Quran is a man-cultivating book, active man’s book, it is the book of human, a book that guides men from here to the end of the universe and beyond.
My dear youth, you are my hope, hold the Quran in one hand and take up arms in the other and defend your honor and prestige in such a way as to withdraw from them (foes) the power to think and plot against you.
All of us, the entire humanity are obligated to the Quran; therefore, it is only fair that we make sacrifices for it.
The great problem of the Muslims is that they have shelved the holy Quran and have come together under other’s banners.
Do not neglect association with the Holy Quran, this divine book of light because whatever the Muslims have had in the past and may have in the future is by the grace of this sacred book
May you never confuse the holy Quran and the salvation faith of Islam with the false, pervert ideologies that are based in human mentality.
