The daughter-in-law of the late founder of the Islamic Republic says the believers can decorate themselves with piousness along handling worldly affairs.
Dr. Fatima Tabatabai made remarks while delivering a lecture on Imam Khomeini’s famous book under title of “an exposition on hosts of intellect and ignorance.”
She went on to say that the faithful people can decorate themselves with piousness along with managing their daily affairs and benefitting from the worldly bounties.
The daughter-in-law of Imam Khomeini explained that the real piety is to perceive the attributes and qualities of God, the Almighty.
During the lecture, citing the Islamic tradition she presented real explanation and concept of the piousness.
Elsewhere in her remarks, she advised the believers to carry out religious practices just not due to habit, but perform them with great consciousness and epistemology.
Dr. Fatima Tabatabai is head of department of the Imam Khomeini and Islamic Revolution Research Center and also manages Iran’s scientific Association on Islamic Mysticism. She is an internationally-reputed scholar who has well command over mysticism and several other disciplines of Islamic studies.
Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic during his lifetime had written several letters and notes for her daughter-in-law which contained great treasure of mysticism.
