No leader of Imam Khomeini caliber in Arab world

An internationally reputed Egyptian intellectual says there has been no leader of Imam Khomeini caliber among the Arab world.

Fahmi Huwaidi made remarks during a summit which was held at faculty of International relations of Tehran University.


He also said that the Arab world and Muslim nations must feel proud of the leadership of Imam Khomeini.


The intellectual went onto say that the Iranian people has had precious experiences which they earned during successful struggle for the Islamic Revolution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini in 1979.


The brave struggle by Iranian nation and the leadership of Imam Khomeini have been decisive factors which resulted in the downfall of Shah regime, and establishment of the Islamic-democratic system.  


Recalling the triumphant emergence of the Islamic Revolution in 1979, the intellectual said that he had entered from Kuwait to visit Iran just a week after the historic victory of the revolution.


He has written a famous books, delivered several lectures and wrote articles about how the Islamic Revolution in Iran transformed the world.


Elsewhere in his remakes, the academic figure said that he had been pursuing Imam Khomeini’s sermons, messages and declaration before and after the emergence of the revolution.


Many experts and analysts maintain that the recent Islamic Awakening and awareness among the Islamic nations have been inspired by the dynamic thought and ideals of Imam Khomeini.


However, the desired results have not been achieved in Egypt and elsewhere due to lack of strong leadership.


Iran’s revolution’s victory turned Iran into a power and strengthened the Muslim and oppressed nations across different parts of the world.
