Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini has sent a message of condolence on the passing away of one of prominent pupil of Imam Khomeini.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini issued the message on passing away occasion of Ayatollah Seyyed Reza Borgaei, Imam’s prominent devotee and pupil.
The senior cleric had stood along Imam in the holy city of Najaf during tough times, and was one of important members of Imam’s office, and also rendered significant services following the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini noted.
I am deeply saddened by the news of his death, the statement read.
I pray God, the Almighty to bless him with his favors and grant him with forgiveness and great place in the heavens.
It is worth to mention that Imam Khomeini had taught several years at seminaries in holy cities of Qom and Najaf, and trained several students during these periods.
Imam’s pupils rendered several services and largely contributed to spreading the message of Imam and the revolution across the world.
Universities and Islamic seminaries made significant progress following the victory of the Islamic Revolution under wise leadership of Imam.
Several of works left by Imam has become part of university curriculum in several universities across various countries in recent years.
Imam’s academic and divine legacy will continue to appeal the next generations during upcoming centuries. His dynamic ideals are becoming increasingly popular among all followers of divine religions and schools of thought.
