I had requested the Imam time and again to pray for my success in the university exams and he would always say: “I pray to God for everybody and shall pray for you as well.”
Concerning selection of field of study, the Imam did not recommend any particular field. The Imam was extremely earnest in his attitudes and would at times console us as well. However he believed that we should be the ones taking decisions for ourselves and he would only offer his guidance to us.
