Institute Taking Active Part at Quranic Exhibition

The institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works is taking an active part in the Quran exhibition being held in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

The institute has set up separate stall at the exhibition and presenting its new academic works and digital productions.


Books about the wife of Imam Khomeini, Khadija Thaqafi, known as the mother of the Islamic Revolution, and a 17 volume collection of Imam’s friends are among works being welcomed by the visitors.


A 50-volume encyclopedia containing Imam’s biography and works in Persian and Arabic is another new compilation being presented at the 23rd Quranic exhibition.  


A 10-volume book which includes Imam decrees and 300 frequently asked question in a separate book covering a wide range of field is also have been added to works this year.


The Quran exhibition is held each year during the blessed month of Ramadan in Tehran. 


A five volume Quranic interpretation by Seyyed Mostafa Khomeini, the martyr son of the founder of the Islamic Republic is also being displayed.


Mostafa Khomeini wanted to write a complete commentary on Quran, but left incomplete due to his untimely passing away. He was martyred by the Shah regime elements and anti-revolution groups.


The commentary on the opening Surah and the verses form Surah al-Baqarah contains numerous lexical and mystical points and scholars are deeply impressed by Imam’s son knowledge


This year’s exhibition was inaugurated by Iranian culture Misiter Ali Jananti on Wednesday at Holy Defense Museum in Tehran on Wednesday. The exhibition will remain open to visitors until July 13 from 19 to 24 p.m local time. 


Imam Khomeini’s works and legacy is becoming popular among devotees and scholars around the globe.
